We acknowledge and pay our respects to the Traditional Owners of the land on which we work and live. Sovereignty was never ceded. We pay our respects to the First Peoples of this country, their culture and Elders past and present. We recognise the ongoing injustice of discriminatory laws resulting from colonisation that result in Aboriginal people being arrested and locked up disproportionately and also acknowledge the tireless work of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, organisations and activists who have led the campaign from the beginning and continue to lead it today.
